Run the check in your own systems. Send a few answers about a person or a company and get back the support, grants and deductions that may fit, with sources and next steps.

The response contains matches (support that may fit or needs more answers), followups (questions that settle more support), sources for each support, catalog_version and request_id. Test keys give the same results as production, marked with "test": true.

Calls

Add audience=individual or audience=business and locale=sv or locale=en where it fits.

Keys and security

Send the key in Authorization: Bearer <key>. Test keys start with rk_test_ and production keys with rk_live_. A key is shown only once when it is created, and we store only a one-way code of it.

Call the API from your server. Never put a key in a web page or app. Revoke a key at once in the business portal if it may have leaked, and it stops working immediately.

Above the checks in your plan the API keeps working. You are told at 80 % and 100 %, and we contact you about a plan that fits your volume. Responses with a production key have X-Rattkoll-Checks-Used and X-Rattkoll-Checks-Included.

Error codes

Errors always look like this: {"error": {"code": "…", "message": "…", "request_id": "req_…"}}. Include request_id when you contact us.

401 invalid_keyThe key is missing, unknown or revoked.
402 subscription_inactiveA production key without an active plan.
429 rate_limitedToo many calls. Wait as told by Retry-After.
429 test_limitThe test environment's checks for the day are used up.
400The profile has unknown fields, the wrong type or fields for another audience.

Privacy and responsibility

The profile may only contain the questions from /fields. Personal identity numbers, names and other identifiers are rejected. We never store the profile or the result, only how many calls each key makes per day.

The results are guidance with sources, never decisions. The agency or whoever provides the support always decides. Please show the source and the text in disclaimer to your users.
